A Romulus teenager is being treated after being stabbed and severely injured during a fight with his mother.
Sources are telling us the mother is being held in police custody.
We are being told the 16-year-old teen began tearing up the house after his mother took his phone away. We are being told he also got into trouble at school.
This led to the son attacking his mother, during which the boy was stabbed.
Police say they were called to he house over a dispute regarding a cell phone.
He was taken to a Dearborn hospital. His condition hasn't been released.
