A man has been sentenced to 30-60 years in prison for killing a man in Inkster who was responding to a Craigslist ad.

Tremayne Alexander pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in February.

Prosecutors say he shot and killed 49-year-old Todd Terry from Farmington Hills with a military assault rifle in September 2016.

At the time, Terry was inquiring about an ad for a motorcycle.

Alexander was sentenced 9 a.m. in Wayne County Circuit Court before Judge Mark Slavens.
