Starting today, people with outstanding tickets in Highland Park can take part in an amnesty program to get late fees waived.
The program applies to misdemeanor traffic and civil infractions cases that are past due.
If the offender appears in 30th District Court and pays the fine in full, all late fees and warrant fees will be waived.
Offenses dated between January 1st, 2002 to the present are eligible.
The amnesty program runs through March 31st, 2016.
The 30th District Court is located at 12050 Woodward Avenue in Highland Park.
