Royal Oak Police are looking for an armed robber caught on surveillance video at Jax Kar Wash in Royal Oak.
It happened around 7:30 pm on Tuesday night.
The video shows a gunman, wearing a red shirt and Pittsburgh Pirates baseball hat, ordering a manager back into an office by gunpoint.
The manager tells 7 Action News, "All I could think about was my daughter, I didn't want it to end like this."
The gunman entered the car wash through an unlocked back door, and made off with thousands of dollars. He then left the same way he came in.
We're told his face was covered, as he told the manager to hurry up and put the money in the garbage bag.
The manager says the entire time he was threatening to shoot him.
