The video is unbelievable - a black Jeep turns and then slams into a row of parked cars.
The driver sits there for a bit. Then reverses - his bumper hanging off - and then, shockingly, he speeds off.
That would be bad enough, but turns out, the driver was an off duty Wayne County Sheriffs deputy.
This all happened at Conant Street and East McNichols in Detroit.
Sources tell us the deputy is a veteran of the force and, according to reports, was wearing his uniform at the time.
We're told that when followed by witnesses, he threatened them to back off.
