A group of co-workers from Wayne County is living up to its name as the "Lucky 7" lottery club.
They won a $1 million Mega Millions prize from the Michigan Lottery.
The "Lucky 7" matched the five white balls from the October 7, 2016 drawing. The numbers were 24,37,42, 50 and 65.
The club members have worked together at a major airline for decades. They are described as being stunned by the big win.
They purchased the lucky ticket at Mac's II, located at 22399 Northline Road in Taylor.
Plans for the money include paying for their children's college educations, taking vacations and giving their retirement accounts a little extra investment.
