Some residents of the city of Wayne are being warned that they may see water that is brown and rusty.
The city says there is a water main break water main break on Howe Road, between Stellwagen and VanBorn. They say that residents within a half mile of that area, "may experience brown rusty water."
In an advisory posted online, they say, "Water is currently shut off on Howe, between VanBorn and Stellwagen. And on Glover between Howe & 4th st."
"Only run the cold water, when trying to clear up the brown rusty water concern," the city of Wayne advises.
