The family of a 74-year-old woman who was missing from Westland says she has been found safe and is thanking the media and viewers for their help.
Nancy Carfes was last seen around 8:30 a.m. Monday morning in the area of Wayne and Warren Roads. She was headed to the Livonia senior center to drop off some tax forms.
However, Carfes never arrived and was not heard from for hours. She suffers from memory issues.
Early Tuesday morning, a family member sent an email to 7 Action News saying Carfes was found safe in Ohio.
"We can't thank you enough for the prayers and help!" the family member said.
