A religious Christmas display outside of a Michigan elementary school is causing controversy.
A display featuring Three Wise Men is up at a school in the Newaygo Public School District.
The Michigan Association of Civil Rights Activists recently filed a complaint about the display saying it promoted one religion over others.
The school board voted unanimously to keep it. The display has been outside of the school for the past 40 years.
The board is reportedly passing the issue onto the superintendent. They will consider altering the display, but it will not be happening before Christmas.
