(WXYZ) — Detroit Metro Airport is one of the least stressful airports in the country, according to rankings from InsureMyTrip.
Rankings were based on flight cancellation rate per airport. Airports on the list also reported 14,000 or more scheduled flights for 2019. Additionally, researchers noted other factors, like hurricanes and winter storms, which led to a higher number of canceled flights.
Hawaii airports are considered the least stressful overall. Detroit ranked eleventh in the list of 75 airports.
Chicago's Midway International Airport was ranked the most stressful.
The data for the ranking was taken from non-stop domestic flights by major air carriers collected in 2019 by the Bureau of Transportation Statistics.
