(WXYZ) — The city of Rochester has been chosen as the best place in Michigan to raise a family, according to a report from WalletHub.
Rochester was chosen for a number of reasons, including the fact that it has the most playgrounds and pediatricians per capita.
The city also has a high-quality school system and residents have a low rate of poverty.
Overall, Rochester received a score of 70 out of 100, putting it at the top of Michigan's list.
South Lyon and Beverly Hills came in second and third place, respectively. Detroit and Highland Park ranked last in the list.
