Report: West Bloomfield Township least-robbed city in Michigan

DETROIT — West Bloomfield Township is the least-robbed city in Michigan, according to a new report.

For a city of nearly 65,000 people, there was only one robbery reported last year. That means that for every 10,000 people, there were .15 robberies, according to the report. Detroit was the most robbed city with 2,639 robberies, which is 39 robberies per 10,000 people.

The report, done buy home security software vendor, Frontpoint, compiled FBI statistics to report on the city in each state with the lowest robbery rate.

Six cities on the report had zero robberies reported.
