(WXYZ) — Retired Detroit U.S. District Judge Barbara Hackett died at 90 years old at her home in Brighton, according to the U.S. District Court for Eastern Michigan.
Hackett served two decades on the federal court bench in Detroit as a magistrate judge and district judge until her retirement in 2000.
