Retired radio DJ camps out in Marathon for Meals
WESTLAND, Mich. (WXYZ) - A retired Detroit radio DJ was camped out in a parking lot in Westland on Tuesday night. Bob Bauer is asking for your help filling a semi truck.
He spent many years on the airwaves, most of them at 98.7 when it was WLLZ Detroit's wheels.
His annual food drive began in 1984 with what he thought would be a one-time deal, but he's been doing it every year since to help fill the never-ending need.
