Over the weekend, Wayne County called in crews to begin salting and pre-treating the roads ahead of Monday's storm, which is expected to bring 2-3 inches in the area during the day.

The larger storm begins Monday night.

Monday night and Tuesday morning's snowfall will be heavier and more widespread. We are expecting another 3" - 6" of snow on top of the previous amounts from Monday morning. If the storm continues to trend west and totals appear to go even higher, some locations may be upgraded to a Winter Storm Warning so stay tuned on that.
