Round two of winter weather is here in the metro Detroit area.
In Oakland County, crews will be working through the overnight hours, but only with half of the crews running. Saturday morning, they plan to put all of the road crews out at full force.
They are handling this round of winter weather slightly differently than last week, since the snow is coming on the weekend and not for the morning commute.
Of course it all depends on what Mother Nature ends up doing, plans can change.
If crews do get everything clear by the end of the day Saturday, they will turn their focus to subdivision streets by Sunday.
"It all depends on the severity of the storm,” said Walter Mersino, a foreman for the Oakland County Roads Commission.
If do plan to be out, be safe, take it slow and be mindful of the plows.
"All we ask, you know, give us room, back away from the trucks, let us do our job and don't put yourself in danger,” said Mersino.
Oakland County has 152 trucks they will be putting on the streets to take care of the snow.
