DETROIT (WXYZ) — The Detroit Opera House has transformed into a world of pure imagination!
The hit musical, "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" is captivating crowds with the popular tale of Charlie, Willie Wonka and the elusive golden ticket.
It's based on the Roald Dahl classic that became a popular film starring Gene Wilder as Willy Wonka. Caitlin Lester-Sams is happy to return home to Michigan to play "Mrs. Bucket."
Lester-Sams is from Troy and is a graduate of Western Michigan University. She stopped by 7 Action News' downtown studio to talk about the show.
