Helping to remove dumped, stolen car

Posted

A home rental company ran into roadblocks getting suspected stolen vehicles dumped on their property removed.

Rondo Investments owns and manages around one thousand properties in the Metro Detroit area. Recently, while inspecting a few of their properties, employees came across abandoned vehicles on the property.

Getting rid of them wasn’t so easy.

Office employees say they reported the suspected stolen vehicles to the cops, but were told since the vehicles were on private property, nothing could be done.

Employees then attempted to have them towed away, but since they were suspected of being stolen, tow companies declined to removed them.
