Ronnie Dahl asks, "Hey, is this your bumper?"

Just about a week ago, neighbors witnessed an accident at the intersection of Florence and Wormer in Northwest Detroit.

When they called 911 for help, they say, the driver who caused the crash didn't want the help and soon took off.

When she left the scene of the accident, she left her front bumper behind.

"It's sad when they leave their crap behind for us to pick up," said long time resident Kate Young.

On this block, neighbors get involved. When the driver left the scene of the accident, they got in the car and tracked her to a home in Redford.

Days later, tired of looking at the busted bumper left behind, neighbors called 7 Action News Reporter Ronnie Dahl.
