If your name is Chris, you've got a free steak coming your way courtesy of Ruth's Chris Steak House.
The location in Ann Arbor is offering anyone with the legal first name of Chris, or other variations of Chris, an 8 oz. petite filet.

This isn't the first time the steakhouse in Ann Arbor has offered a crazy promotion.
In October, they offered a huge discount to visitors following Michigan's historic win over Rutgers. Just a few days later, head coach Jim Harbaugh took advantage of the discount with his wife, Sarah, and restaurant general manager, Buzz Goebel.
The promotion runs July 1 through Aug. 13 and includes the following guidelines:
- Only valid at Ruth's Chris in Ann Arbor
- Reservations on required and a valid driver's license/ID must be presented
- Valid for dining room only
- Must purchase a dinner entree of equal or greater valid
- Promotional discount may not be combined with COSTCO gift cards
- Not valid with any other discount
- Ordering salads with appetizers do not qualify as an entree purchase
- No cash value
- Expires at 10 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 13
