SAGINAW TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WXYZ) — The Michigan State Police have arrested a 36-year-old Saginaw Township man for possession of child sexually abusive material and using a computer to commit a crime.
Troopers say Corey Gilbert was arrested after an investigation where digital evidence was seized from his home. The investigation began when police learned Gilbert was distributing child sexually material on the internet, police say.
Following a forensic examination of the digital evidence, Gilbert was charged with five counts of possession of child sexually abusive material and five counts of using a computer to commit a crime.
He was arraigned Tuesday in 70th District Court.
