(WXYZ) — The Salvation Army of Metro Detroit is holding its 32nd annual Bed & Bread Club Radiothon presented by Ford Motor Company Fund.
The event will be held Friday at a new venue -- One Campus Maritus in Detroit.
It will be hosted by WJR's regular lineup of Guy Gordon, Frank Beckmann, Dick Purtan and Mitch Albom.
Here are a few ways you can contribute to the cause:
- Texting BREAD to 91999
- Visiting www.salmich.org or www.wjr.com
- Send check or money made payable to The Salvation Army's Bed & Bread Club at 16130 Northland Drive, Southfield, MI 48075
They will be joined by special guest host Jim Vella, president of Ford Motor Company Fund and a member of the Salvation Army National Advisory Board.
The radiothon is the primary source of financial support for The Salvation Army's Bed & Bread program. Funds go directly towards feeding and sheltering metro Detroiters in need.
Look who's in the house!
