Locally developed Santa Spy Cam app expands

Posted

In the month of December, holiday magic is everywhere.

That's why one app, created by local entrepreneurs, aims to help users capture the fun while still staying on Santa's nice list.

The app is called Santa Spy Cam--and since its launch several years ago, the app has been used in over 60 countries around the world, according to one of its creators.

Santa Spy Cam from BELIEVEIN LLC uses magic only found at the North Pole to help parents get video of Santa and his friendly elves when they pay a visit.

Now, what's fun about the app is it only captures these special moments when kids are asleep.

The Santa Spy Cam has a built-in sensor that "flips on" when Santa or his elves are nearby. The app is free to download but additional sensors will cost you anywhere from $2 to $4.

Processing can take some time, but be patient, it's worth it.

The app is available for iOS and Android devices.

One other rule: Only parents are allowed to download the Santa Spy Cam, because it's pretty tricky:  http://www.santaspycam.com/
