Detroit police say a missing 9-year-old boy who disappeared while taking out the trash has been found.
Police say Robert Wood was found less than an hour after the missing alert was sent out.

Detroit police are asking for the public's help locating a missing 9-year-old boy.
Robert Wood was last see at 8:45 a.m. Friday morning at his home in the 20500 block of Heyden. His mother says he was taking out the trash and never came back inside.
Police describe Robert Wood as black male, 4'5", 70 lbs, with black hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a checkered blue shirt, blue jeans and dark shoes.
Robert has medical conditions and requires medication.
