Search underway for missing and endangered 16-year-old, Alex O'hare

GROSSE POINTE WOODS, Mich. (WXYZ) — Grosse Pointe Woods Department of Public Safety has issued an endangered missing person advisory for a 16-year-old who walked away from his home.

Alex O'hare was last seen at his Grosse Pointe Woods home. It is believed that he walked away from the residence between 3 a.m. and 9:30 a.m.

Alex has been diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome and schizoaffective disorder. His mother reported to authorities that he was in a restless state when she last saw him.

He is described as 6'2" tall, 165 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes. He was wearing a white pocket t-shirt, blue gym shorts, dark socks, and leather sandals. Alex also has a goatee.
