A security guard was carjacked at gunpoint Saturday morning outside of a nursing home on Detroit's east side, police said.

It happened at about 7:30 a.m. at the Eastwood Convalescent Center on the 600 block of East Grand Boulevard.

Security guard Torrence Hill said he was working at the nursing home when two men approached him and pulled out a gun.

He said they fired two shots at him, and drove away with his tan 2009 Dodge Charger. He was not injured.

Hill said the two men got away with his daughters' medication, including asthma inhalers. He is asking anyone with information about the carjacking to come forward and call police.
