Senator Gary Peters new bill is aimed at helping veterans that were dishonorably discharged because of war-related traumas.
The bill would benefit veterans that are suffering from PTSD or traumatic brain injuries that haven't been able to receive help.
After pushing the bill for almost a year, legislatures are showing support.
