The last of three people convicted in the murder of a Detroit firefighter was sentenced Friday.

Nicole O'Neil will serve 20 to 50 years in prison for her role in the robbery and murder of David Madrigal, a 26-year veteran of the Detroit Fire Department.

Madrigal was found dead at his home in Detroit back in December of 2015.

Investigators say his house ransacked and then set on fire.

O'Neil pleaded guilty to second-degree murder -- and had her armed robbery and arson charges dropped.

Madrigal's daughter made a statement in court saying O'Neil's punishment isn't harsh enough.
Timmy Soto and Christian Rasnick, the other two suspects involved in the case, also agreed to plea deals and have already been sentenced.

Soto is now serving 38-to-80 year sentence.

Rasnick was sentenced to 10 to 30 years in state prison.
