A serious accident closed McNichols in both directions at Southfield for hours this morning.
Police say there was a two-vehicle crash involving a pickup truck and a minivan.
The driver of the minivan was rushed to the hospital and is now listed in critical condition, according to authorities.
Police say they believe the driver of the pickup truck may have been drinking.
An investigation is ongoing.
