Metro Detroit will have a couple chances of severe storms this week with a slow moving atmospheric pattern keeping storm ingredients near the Great Lakes for days to come. The main culprit will be the high humidity with the Muggy Meter's dew points in the 70s . This will also led to enough instability to produce heavy rain, hail and damaging winds.
Wednesday & Thursday's Threat
Appears to be in the morning and afternoon. The first batch will be due to an approaching warm front followed by an unstable air-mass, which will remain with us through Thursday and possibly Friday. The stalled front will make timing tricky so make sure you have a way to get warnings and stay up to date throughout the workweek.
