Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore announced an increase in camping and entrance fees starting January 1, 2018.

The 35-mile-long park stretches along the northern lower peninsula of Lake Michigan's coastline.

Fees are raising from $15 to $20 for private vehicles; $7 to $10 for individuals; $30 to $40 for annual passes; and $10 to $15 for motorcycles. For a complete list and camping prices, click here

Sleeping Bear Dunes will be featured on a post stamp released next year. The illustration features a sweeping view of the sandy beach, Lake Michigan waves and the towering dunes.

The stamp will be a Priority Mail Express stamp and cost $24.70, according to the postal service.

The national park is no stranger to the spotlight. In 2011, "Good Morning America" named Sleeping Bear Dunes the nation's most beautiful spot. More than 1 million people visit the park every year and climb the dunes, hike forest trails and take in the sweeping views.
