CLARKSTON, Mich. (WXYZ) — Heavy metal band Slipknot has announced a new album and a new tour, that will stop in metro Detroit this summer.
The band will bring the Knotfest Roadshow to DTE Energy Music Theatre on Aug. 12. They'll also bring Volbeat, Gojira and Behemoth as special guests on all dates of the 29-city tour.
Tickets for the show start at $39.50 for lawn seats, but a limited number of four-pack tickets will go for $100 on the United Shore Lawn. All tickets go on sale Friday, March 8 at 10 a.m.
Premium members of Slipknot's fan club will be getting first access to tickets beginning Tuesday, and Citi is the official presale credit card of the tour.
