(WXYZ) — Smoothie King is giving away free smoothies for a year to celebrate the grand openings of its new metro Detroit locations.

The chain has two new locations in Livonia on Middlebelt Road and in Chesterfield on 23 Mile Road. Customers can come to the grand openings of the stores where Smoothie King will give free, 20-ounce smoothies for a year to two guests per hour. The Livonia location will host its grand opening on July 20, while the Chesterfield store will officially open on July 27. The offer lasts from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

NASCAR driver Armani Williams, the first openly autistic driver in NASCAR, is set to attend the Livonia grand opening. Williams' autism awareness foundation – Armani Williams Race 4 Autism Foundation – will receive $1 for every smoothie sold at the opening. The driver will also be available for photos and signings.

Smoothie King plans to continue expansion in Michigan. The company opened in St. Clair Shores in March, and has plans of opening a total of 50 locations in Michigan.
