SOUTH LYON, Mich. (WXYZ) — South Lyon police are searching for the person or people responsible for causing "extensive damage" to a local park.
On the morning of May 13, South Lyon Department of Public Works (DPW) employees found damage to the grassy area of Volunteer Park.
According to police, a vehicle had been driving off road throughout the park causing extensive damage. DPW workers estimated cost of repairs to be in the thousands.
Some interviews have been conducted, but there are no suspects right now, police say.
