MARYSVILLE, Mich. (WXYZ) — A man allegedly killed his father with a golf club in Marysville on Wednesday, authorities say.
Officers from the Marysville Police Department responded to the scene at 949 Lighthouse and made verbal contact with the person who was believed to have made the phone call to dispatch. Police say the individual followed officers' commands and was taken into custody.
Police say they found a deceased man inside the residence and say that observations at the scene indicated that there was foul play in his death.
The suspect is in custody and is expected to be arraigned on murder charges Friday.
Police say the case is still under investigation.
