This morning, a father is behind bars, accused of shooting his son.
Several generations of family were apparently enjoying Father's Day inside a home on Mercedes in Redford Township.
A next door neighbor says around 5 p.m., he saw family members rush outside the home, heard loud arguing inside and one gunshot.
Dre Wallace says he ran to the door and saw his 22-year-old friend shot, clutching his stomach. He also says he heard his friend's father admitting he did it.
Wallace says he knew the victim and his father did not get along, but never imagined it would result in such violence.
The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital and family tells 7 Action News he's in stable condition.
