South Lyon police still looking for cemetery vandals

SOUTH LYON, Mich. (WXYZ) — Police are still looking for vandals that toppled 15-20 headstones at South Lyon Cemetery.

Flowers and displays were also knocked over, police say.

The vandalism was first reported on Aug. 8. Two months later, police say they are still looking for information related to the vandalism.

A $1,000 reward has been offered for information leading to the arrest of individuals responsible for the damage.
