SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (WXYZ) — The Southfield Police Department is investigating a shooting that happened Wednesday night at North Park Drive.
A preliminary investigation revealed a 44-year-old man shot a 37-year-old woman one time then shot himself, police say.
The man and woman were married but separated while still seeing each other, according to officers.
Both were taken to a local hospital, where the man was pronounced dead and the woman in critical condition.
The investigation is ongoing.
