A Spirit Airlines flight made an emergency landing Friday morning at Detroit Metro Airport.
Passengers tell 7 Action News they were on Flight 417 heading from Detroit to Fort Lauderdale when shortly after 6:30 a.m. takeoff, their plane lost pressure in the cabin.
We're told oxygen masks deployed for the passengers and crew.
The flight made an emergency landing later that morning. No one was injured, but the situation was frightening for many passengers.

Spirit Airlines Flight 417 Statement
Spirit Airlines flight 417 from Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DFTW) to Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) returned safely to DTW this morning following a possible loss of cabin pressure. Passengers were deplaned and our customer service agents are working to get them to their final destinations. No injuries were reported. Mechanics will conduct a full inspection of the plane to determine what caused the issue. We apologize for any inconvenience and we’ll be issuing future flight credits to all impacted customers.
