ST. CLAIR COUNTY, Mich. (WXYZ) — St. Clair County Animal Control is hosting a special pet adoption event Saturday to try and help long-term residents find new homes.
The event will be held from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the shelter on Griswold Road in Port Huron Township.
Dogs that usually cost $120 to be adopted will be just $75. Dogs that have been in the shelter since last year will be $50.
Cat adoptions will also be reduced to $50.
All animals are micro-chipped, spayed or neutered and tested negative for major diseases like heartworm and feline leukemia.
