ST. CLAIR SHORES, Mich. (WXYZ) — In St. Clair Shores, another round of potential flooding has people on edge.
Those who know the history of the area are especially concerned.
The St. Clair Shores city manager issued an emergency declaration. The lake level is expected to rise another half-foot before this is all done.
Governor Gretchen Whitmer is expected to sign an emergency declaration for Wayne County aimed at clean-up after flooding.
Some in Wayne County are in mourning over what's already happened, but those in St. Clair Shores are more concerned about what's to come.
"I don't know what will happen as far as there being enough sand and the sand bags to handle the situation," one resident said.
