SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (WXYZ) — Michigan State Police are investigating a non-fatal shooting that likely happened in the area of I-75 near 8 Mile Road Wednesday night.
According to a series of tweets, MSP Metro Detroit Post states that after 9 p.m. police received information of a shooting. Officers later found that the shooting occurred on a service drive. A vehicle had multiple bullet holes in it and the victim appeared to have been hit at least one time. The victim was transported to a local hospital.
Officers are now canvasing the area of I-75 and 8 Mile with two K-9 units.
This is an ongoing investigation.
