INKSTER, Mich. (WXYZ) — UPDATE 7:12PM: Police are looking for the two suspects involved in the fatal shooting.
According to an update, a K-9 officer was unable to locate the suspects. Now officers are gathering information from witnesses on the scene. There is expected to be a police presence in the area for more hours.

UPDATE 4:43PM: State police say that the homicide in Inkster involved three men.
At 2:50 p.m. Monday, a man was meeting with two other men in the area of Lehigh and WIlliams streets in Inkster. The reason for the meeting is currently unknown, police say.
During the meeting, there was an altercation and shots were fired. One of the men were killed, the other two men fled the scene.
This is an ongoing investigation.

State police are investigating a homicide in Inkster, according to a post on the Michigan State Police Metro Detroit Twitter page.
