Sterling Heights K-9 Ernie helped his partner, Officer Jeremy Walleman, reveal to his family that he and his wife are expecting twins! A boy and a girl.
"K-9 Ernie is super excited about being a big brother and he couldn't wait to sniff his way on finding out if he will have a little brother or sister! Turns out, Ernie will get one of each!" the post stated.
K-9 dogs live with their handlers and stay with them about 98% percent of the time, even on family vacations, according to Sterling Heights Police, so Ernie is gearing up for his new family members.
