Sterling Heights Police Department made a surprise visit to an 11-year-boy who's battling terminal cancer.
The SHPD hopes to raise awareness and money for Noah Gochanou's medical expenses and his dream trip to California with his family.
The department has also started an internal collection for Noah and plans to give the money raised to his family.
Officers surprised him with t-shirts created for the whole family and let him use their radio to "call in for special assistance."
After Noah made his special call, about 10 police cruisers and Sterling Heights Fire Department fire trucks came in response.
Noah has been fighting a cancer called Ewing's Sarcoma since 2014, a very rare type of cancerous tumor that grows in bones or the soft tissue around bones, such as cartilage or the nerves.
His family and friends have set up a GoFundMe to help with medical expenses.
