STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich. (WXYZ) — Sterling Heights police are looking for a suspect who fired shots at a driver after almost getting into a collision inside an apartment complex parking lot.
The incident happened Saturday, Nov. 28. Police did not release the location of the incident as of yet.
In home surveillance video shared on the department's Facebook page, you see a woman in a black SUV backing out of a parking spot while a pickup truck also pulls out of a parking spot behind her. The two vehicles almost collide, then the suspect inside the pickup truck exits his vehicle and fires shots at the SUV. The woman in the SUV then tries speeding off but is chased by the pickup truck.
The woman driver returns to the home while still being followed. She exits her vehicle and runs into the home.
A woman witnessed the incident from the porch of a home.
Police are asking anyone with information on the suspect to contact the department at 586-446-2866.
