Student knocked out during robbery at University of Michigan campus

A student was struck in the head during a robbery Saturday afternoon at the University of Michigan campus.

It happened at about 4:50 p.m. on the 700 block of South State Street, between Hill Street and Monroe Street in Ann Arbor.

Police said a student pedestrian was struck in the head by an unknown suspect.

When she regained consciousness, her wallet and jewelry were missing, police added.
