(WXYZ) — Detroit Metro Airport is number one in traveler satisfaction, according to the 2019 J.D. Power North American Airport Satisfaction Study.
The study compared 20 mega airports across North America.
Detroit got a score of 786 out of 1,000, the highest score compared to other major airports.
The study measured six factors: terminal facilities, airport accessibility, baggage claim, security check, check-in/baggage check, and food, beverage and retail. It's based on responses from 32,276 U.S. or Canadian residents who traveled through at least one U.S. or Canadian airport and covers both departure and arrival experiences during the past three months.
