A Wind Advisory is in effect for most of Sunday thanks to a strong area of low pressure heading this way. With it comes moderate to heavy rain and wind gusts up to 50+ mph. Take the time now to prepare for power outages across the area since winds at this speed can cause issues.
Peak gusts will occur during the late morning and early afternoon. During this time, it's not out of the question for a wind gust near 60 mph to pop up, especially near the Thumb.
