DETROIT (WXYZ) — Tonight surveillance video is raising questions about the case against a man charged in a nonfatal shooting at a Detroit appliance store.

Javon Dabney can be seen in the video arguing over his demand for a refund on a stove.

A worker testified that Dabney made threats.

Another clip of video captured a shooting at the store about a half-hour later, and shows the hand of the gunman appears to be white.

Prosecutors contend that Dabney conspired with the shooter. However, the judge asked for more information and briefs before making a decision on whether he should stand trial.

Charges against Dabney include armed robbery and attempted murder.
